I see you in blues
And sorrowful hues
Of colors that I've
Yet to touch
But I'm painting red
In a picturesque bed
I'm a lover who won't
Leave you much
You come seeking the truth
For a devilish youth
You believe I will use
As a crutch
A sin more than once
It was never enough
To let blue and my red
Ever touch

Unconditional
Let me hold you
When life provides
Burdens that are
Too heavy to bear
Lean on me
With all of the hurt
And I will find love
In every tear
Map
I will take you with me
Wherever I go
On a journey moving forward
To let my love show
You do not have to join me
But I need you to know
That you'll always be here
As I start to pave this road
Resurgence
I woke up in a path of destruction. Fumbling about, I gathered myself and assessed the situation.
Wait, where am I?
I blinked a couple times but nothing appeared lucid as I rubbed my eyes for clearer visionary understanding.
How long have I been here?
Clouds of smoke billowed around me and an unfamiliar terrain seems to surround me.
Have I been here before?

Do you believe
That when the river
Of vicissitude
Passed between us
That we had a choice
To sink or float?
I wanted to survive
I held onto that hope
Pearls
Happiness comes
In many different forms
Though my favorite
Happens to be your smile
Perfect
The shape of my love
Was never a fit
For the molds
I had been given
Until I was given
You
Tripped
You fall
Then I fall
It’s all such a thrill
But don’t fall
Too quickly
This fall tends to kill
Tight
He will seize
What is left
Of his pride
But he has
Forgotten
His dignity
Between my lips
Harmful
You beg those
Around you
To be gentle with
Your fragile soul
Yet you are the one
Who holds the same
Rusty sword
To your own throat
