I didn’t have a choice
Tiny touches of hope
In your eyes
Slowly tilted and tugged
Drained and tired

Touch Me
I can feel
The tension
Balanced through
Bare skin
Translated through
A stare
Electrifying
Your skin on mine
Twisting as we’re graced
With a taste
Of revenge
Blind
Give me the reason
For why the skies
Fell with no sound
And while everything
Was falling apart
I wasn’t aware
The roof was crumblingÂ
Until it was too late
Lust
Their greedy faces
Reaching for places
I can no longer locate
Covered
Broken is not pain
For pain does not
Touch me in pieces
It swallows me
At once and it is
Lacking depth and reason
Waiting
Patience is a virtue
So it’s a shameÂ
You were soÂ
Restive
Bliss
Here I amÂ
Enjoying the parts of me
That somehow
You never could
And now never will
Humble
You have hurt so many
Yet you stand so tall
As if the pain you have caused
Is a degree too small
Lovely
His eyes fell in deep shades of blueÂ
And I’m not sure if he knew
But just like the ocean deep
Everyone stares in theÂ
Reflection of the surface
But the depth and soulful worth
Is often left undiscovered
Mistake
I really thought
You were the one
But I am human
And humans are flawed
I made a mistake
